Sledding

We took the boys sledding a couple of times on the Christmas break and had a blast. This was Kylers first attempt at snowboarding and was a bit frustrated when it wasn't as easy as it looks. I really need to get them into lessons. If only I had all the time and money... Gavin in true form. I know I know I made him wear a helmet but I've seen way too many head injuries in my line of work. But he's cute no matter what you put on him. He found a snow cave someone had made and had a ton of fun climbing on and in it.

Kyler and Gavin havin fun going down the hill together. I love the looks on their faces.

What can I say about Corb? He is always the comedian. Funny enough he is also kind of the dare-devil too. Most of all he likes to pose for funny pictures.

So anyway, I've decided that I am pretty much the worst blogger ever. Two updates in one day isn't bad though right?

Hawaii

So we had the opportunity to go to Maui the first part of December. Our friends Aaron and Natalie Lavin invited us to go and we just couldn't pass it up.This is us at the Hula Grill. It is a restaurant on the beach walk with a barefoot bar. You sit and relax with your feet in the sand while you listen to live Hawaiian music. Aaron and Nat's friend Ernest Puaa performs there and he is awesome. Jess and Aaron were also able to go golfing with Ernest while we were there.

I couldn't get enough of these hammocks on the beach walk. We would lie in them at night and just listen to the waves crashing in. It was so peaceful. I even fell asleep all curled up with Jess.

Our California Trip

Well better late than never. I'm finally posting some pictures from our California trip.

We went to Disneyland for 3 days and had a blast. Gavin wasn't sure about the rides but finally decided he liked the new Toy Story one where you shoot at stuff in 3D. I think we all liked that one. Kyler and Corbin's favorite was the Tower of Terror and I have to agree with them on that one cause it's mine too.

Jess' mom Susan is our official Disneyland companion. We are very fortunate that she was able to travel with us and help us with the 3 rugrats. Just don't take her on the Swinging Gondola. You'll have to ask her yourself but I haven't laughed that hard in a long time.

We went to Huntington Beach our last official day there and the water was cold. Gavin was all excited about the ocean and ran for it full boar until he hit the water and first felt the temperature and then got knocked over by a wave. From there on out it was like pulling teeth to get him near the water again. Kyler and Corb however loved it and Corb went in cast and all. Let's just say that when his cast came off it was pretty gross and his arm was all scratched from the sand.

Jess and I of course had tons of fun we both love to ride all the rides. I just can't get enough of Disneyland.

Happy Halloween

Well here they are all dressed and ready to go. Don't they look super cute?

Kyler is an Army soldier (go figure) Corbin is Indiana Jones, and Gavin is perhaps the cutest cowboy to ever live!
